The e-shop Artforum is one of Slovakia´s first online bookstores  and Artforum itself is the first-ever post-1989 bookstore to come into being in Slovakia and has been based at the unchanged address on Kozia Street for already more than 25 years.

It came out of a community of congenial people who intended to devote themselves freely and publicly to what they had done by then behind the closed doors of their apartments. We wanted to read, listen and debate, we wanted to organise concerts and exhibitions, publish and sell books and records.

We started off with exile literature and samizdat magazines which we had carried in backpacks by train from the Czech lands. We did not sell all books available but merely a selection of the very best. This is the case up to this day. We look for those books which are really worth reading and we do not recommend them to you upon agreement with the publishers but based on the selection by our experienced booksellers. You´ll find with us also books from small Slovak and Czech publishers, books of minor genres, or English-language books which are not available elsewhere.

We are devoted not just to selling books but also to a multitude of non-profit or educational activities relating to literature, the world of books and bookselling. On the premises of Artforum and our nice café there have been held hundreds of public readings, debates, concerts and exhibitions, but in particular countless expected and unexpected meetings. Because it is them – in conjunction with an unmistakable choice of books – that create Artforum´s unique atmosphere.

We have founded the publishing house Artforum where we have published more than 100 titles, both original and translated ones, many of them being awarded prizes for design or illustrations. Since 2013 we have published own paper Čo čítať?, operate the literary portal medziknihami.sk, and has recently intensively devoted to children´s books and the youngest readers through the events Posvieťte si s nami na sny. All of these activities are taken care of by non-profit organisation Art-fórum pre literatúru, n.o.

It is allowed to run direct PPC campaigns. Branded keywords (including misspells) have to be defined as negative keywords in Adwords. Email campaigns have to be submitted for approval before sending. It is not possible to use branded keywords in the domain names. The commissions are being calculated based on the price excluding VAT and shipping costs. Commissions for B2B orders may be declined.

When promoting the campaign, it is required to use all parameters included in the referrals displayed in our dashboard. Removing the parameters might cause a tracking malfunction or declining the commissions.
